AKQA has been recognised by Newsweek as a Most Loved Workplace among 100 North American companies that actively work to prioritise the evolving needs of their employees.

Produced in collaboration with the Best Practice Institute, Newsweek’s third annual ranking of the Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces in America lists AKQA in 54th position, noted for continually seeking to build a community where diverse perspectives and experiences contribute to a culture that champions creativity, inclusivity and conscientiousness. In May 2023, AKQA was also recognised by Newsweek as the 9th Most Loved Workplace in the World.

AKQA President, North America Tesa Aragones commented: “One of Newsweek’s Most Loved Workplaces in America – what an incredible honour. At AKQA, we are committed to fostering and nurturing an inclusive environment where people can unite, innovate, and thrive. Every voice counts here at AKQA. I am very proud of our AKQA team and our collective mission to shape a brighter future for everyone. Congratulations to the other impressive companies that are on this list with us, including some of our clients. And to our AKQA team – thank you for all that you do for our clients, our company and each other.”

Reflecting on this year’s list, Nancy Cooper, Global Editor in Chief of Newsweek, said: “With the rapidly changing workplace and competition for top talent, more companies are recognising the importance of employee engagement and commitment. The workplaces that have demonstrated a commitment to their employees in 2023 are more likely to attract the best talent and deliver strong business outcomes.”

Newsweek observed that “AKQA allows everyone to have a voice” owing to our commitment to inclusion across the full spectrum of diversity. AKQA has an established employee-led DEI Council, with DEI committees across the global studios, to give a voice to under-represented groups and recommend programs and policies that will identify barriers to progress and assist in elevating talent. In 2023, North America’s Council has initiated awareness of DEIB work through the internal A3 Award, presented quarterly to acknowledge the efforts of our employees advancing allyship, advocacy and activism causes both within AKQA and in wider society.
