AKQA appoints Morrissey and Peterson as General Managers

AKQA is expanding its London office to more than 500 full-time employees. To accommodate this growth, AKQA has acquired a third floor of the London HQ at 1 St John’s Lane.

AKQA is also delighted to announce the immediate promotion of Amanda Morrissey to General Manager in London. Amanda has worked at AKQA for two and half years as Director of Client Services.

Amanda said: "Successful collaboration with clients to deliver consistently excellent work has always been our primary goal. I am excited about my new role working with the team in London to contribute more to our clients."

Ron Peterson has also been promoted to General Manager, having pioneered AKQA’s Social practice since joining the agency in 2012 as Head of Social.

Ron said: "AKQA is constantly adapting to create the optimum environment for client success. We are introducing a new and completely client-focused model where the teams, the client, and the output align closer together than ever before. This will only mean more entrepreneurialism, more speed, and most importantly, more value to our clients."

This optimisation will also see more roles created in addition to the current 135 open global hires.
