Account Executive

As a member of the AKQA Client Services department you will influence changes in consumer behaviour through ideas, creativity and the use of interactive media. You will make a difference to digital communications, marketing, advertising and inspire the best global brands.

As an Account Executive, you will provide a supporting role to the account team as well as some delivery support. You will act as the linchpin for the account team, providing accurate administration and reports. You will support the Account Manager in delivery of small projects with a focus on time and profitability.



  • Proactively follow up all outstanding orders with clients, Manage financial sheets. Create statements of work for projects with support from PM. Produce status reports.
  • Work with internal and external collaborators to deliver tasks and projects.
  • Provides knowledge management support, collates articles, and circulates trends,
  • Take ownership of tasks from account manager when required.
  • Produce high quality written documentation with minimal errors.
  • Build good internal relationships.
  • Administration such as meeting notes and reports.
  • Demonstrates proactivity, looks for ways to add value through more efficient processes or ways of working.
  • Proactively provides assistance to ensure delivery of highest quality work within required timeframes.



  • Ability to balance specific clients demand with projects realities.
  • Proven background in brand positioning and strategy, channel planning, campaign strategy and social.
  • Good presentation (verbal, written and visual) skills.
  • A passion for innovation and business strategy.
  • Ability to build successful ‘trusted advisor’ relationships with key senior client contacts.
  • Ability to create a range of reports, proposals and budget documentation.
  • Ability to conduct desk research.
  • Ability to understand, interpret and use numerical data.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office software is a bonus.
