Client Director - Digital

We're looking for a Client Director who is passionate about digital experiences, committed to outstanding client service, and will use data to drive insights and optimizations which create better connections for consumers and improve bottom-line business results.
This Client Director is a self-starter with an ambition to help grow expertise and services for a top client. You will possess knowledge and passion for the creative and digital marketing industry and help keep the company up-to-date on what trends will have an impact on our clients’ business.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Day-to-day relationship lead between AKQA and a number of key clients at the mid-tier level
- Lead strategic and tactical planning activities via virtual engagement with the likelihood to transition to a more hybrid approach later this year
- Manage internal stakeholders to deliver on-time and on-brief, while also organizing outbound client communication
- Provide a client perspective internally, work to ensure that we proactively address questions or concerns before they arise
- Create top-line search and media plans while working directly with the delivery teams to translate client needs into live campaigns
- Stay up to date on industry developments and client’s company and industry news
- Have a keen interest in client relationship building
QUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS
- Seven to nine years of related experience, with a background including digital products and services
- A client service or agency background with strong organizational skills and a hands-on approach is a must
- Good understanding of digital and emerging tech capabilities across Product Strategy, CX, eCommerce, immersive technologies, data and analytics
- Exceptional knowledge of Excel, Keynote, Google Slides, and strong understanding of project management and communication tools
- Strong attention to detail in the day-to-day management of digital product focused workstreams
- Comfort working daily with senior internal and client-stakeholders of a wide range of experience and tenure, including regular calls, video conferences, email, and formal presentations
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment while handling multiple tasks with fluid priorities
- Demonstrates strong financial management skills (tracking, reporting, working with finance/delivery) to ensure financial processes are managed effectively.
- Creates a close partnership with your PM partner and proactively identifies/resolves program issues and knows when to push back
