As a writer for AKQA Denmark, you will help define the public voice for some of the worlds most iconic brands. You'll write in the voice of famous TV actors, make the world’s athletes want to pound pavement, and craft narratives about tech products so new they haven’t even been leaked to YouTube reviewers yet.  A fearless experimenter full of ideas about how to show up in the frenzied world of always-on media, writers at AKQA talk like humans, and help the brands we work with do the same.  

Acting as a true partner to our clients, you'll be expected to understand the context and culture that our clients operate in, and use your creative abilities to help solve business challenges, craft compelling brand stories, write copy that drives engagement and delivers results.



  • Deliver and inspire award-winning work from both yourself and others who work with you, influencing where appropriate a dramatic change through ideas, creativity and the use of interactive media.
  • Create and write for a variety of creative products including digital video, mobile content and social activations.
  • Consistently deliver a number of successful solutions and high quality work to clients on time.
  • Collaborate closely with art directors, designers, and/or creative directors, as well as ux and content strategy, to get to the heart of the big idea, as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Work with the wider AKQA such as developers, project managers, strategy and client services to launch innovative digital, mobile, website, print, broadcast, video and traditional branded product experiences.
  • High level internal and external client satisfaction.
  • High level of team satisfaction.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Learn new skills and stay abreast of technical and digital design developments and successfully apply these to work practices to help improve processes and procedures.
  • Participate in a number of pitches and client presentations. Present your work to internal stakeholders and justify your decisions confidently to clients



  • 2-6 years of copywriting experience, preferably with a content or social media focus in an ad agency or client marketing group.
  • A portfolio of captivating copy, smart headlines and innovative, compelling, content for a range of brands, products and services.
  • Experience creating and writing for digital video, mobile content and social activations.
  • A stickler for detail, proper grammar, punctuation and spelling
  • A willingness and ability to proof one’s own work
  • Able problem-solve your way around obstacles, seeing each pivot as an opportunity to add something new
  • A curious personality with a natural ability to uncover insights in the world that drive sharp, compelling concepts
  • An excellent storyteller, captivating writer and renowned wordsmith, as well as a modern, culturally aware, progressive thinker with a collaborative, friendly, empathic, thoughtful personality
  • English is a 'must', Danish is a strong 'plus'
