
Erik Posthuma has been appointed Chief Growth Officer, Asia Pacific & Japan, effective 2025. The role expands his existing leadership responsibilities across APAC to now include Japan, as AKQA brings the region together under a single operating model.
A longstanding growth leader within the region, Erik will oversee new business, client growth and commercial strategy across AKQA’s studios in India, Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. He has worked closely with organisations across Public Sector, Financial Services, Healthcare and other sectors on complex transformation programmes spanning experience, technology and Applied AI.
Speaking on the appointment, Erik said: “What excites me most is the chance to work more closely with the people across this region. We have an exceptional mix of strategists, designers, technologists and engineers across APJ, with deep expertise in industries like Financial Services, Healthcare and the Public Sector. Bringing more of that together across markets is a huge opportunity.”
