Mission 44 Igniting change

Insight

A powerful icon that signifies transformation.

In a world where young people often find themselves overlooked and sidelined in matters concerning their education, employment and wider society, Mission 44 recognises the urgency to bring change. The ask for a meaningful symbol that represents their commitment to opening doors for young people was evident.

Idea

A new visual identity is born.

A new vibrant representation is inspired by the powerful notion of open doors, symbolising opportunity and the boundless energy of young people.

The unique wordmark is designed with the base of each letter at positive angles. This distinctive feature symbolises the forward and upward progression that Mission 44 aspires to foster within society.

The doorway icon is a powerful symbol of limitless access and opportunities. It encapsulates the organisation’s goal to dismantle barriers and empower the next generation to overcome their limitations.

Impact

The possibilities of a brighter future.

The visual identity launched at the annual Reimagining the Future event, where Mission 44 made a heartfelt statement about their dedication to empowering young individuals. The celebration sent a message of support to those who often find themselves marginalised and overlooked. The event served as a call to action, inspiring all attendees to play an active role in providing young people with the opportunities they deserve. So far, Mission 44 has successfully raised £11 million in donations and awarded £3.5 million in grants.
