AKQA Webby-Article Image Action Audio

AKQA’s Action Audio has won the Webby Award for Diversity and Inclusion, the Webby Award for Public Service Activism with The [uncertain] Four Seasons and the Webby People’s Voice Award for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales - Be Yourself. AKQA’s work is also honoured with an additional five Honourees and five Nominees.

The Webby Awards is the leading international award honouring excellence on the Internet, presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, a judging body of more than 2000 members.

Tennis Australia’s Action Audio received the Webby Award for Diversity and Inclusion within the Remote and Virtual category, giving the chance for 285 million low vision sports fans the ability to access sport in real time.

Vivaldi’s The [uncertain] Four Seasons is honoured with the Webby Award for Public Service and Activism, recognising the event series created to focus on political change and social activism. The work is also a Sustainability and Environment Nominee and Honouree within the Cause Related Campaign categories.

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales - Be Yourself was selected as the Webby's People's Voice Award for Best Music Supervision. The award is chosen by the public for the creative and innovative use of sound and music.

The Webby Nominees include Nego Bala Sonho for Music Video, and Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 for Best Visual Design and Best Connected Products and Wearables.

AKQA is a Webby Honouree for Netflix Tudum Remix in the Social, Performance and Dance category and Best Original Music category, The Last of Us Part II - True Faith launch for Video Short Form, and The World Gold Council’s The Golden Threadfor Video Documentary and Video Long Form.
