We provide a Macbook to make your working environment at home as comfortable as possible, AKQA contributes towards equipment to get you set up, including your internet costs.

Dogs in the studio

Being around our pets can reduce stress, increase cognitive abilities and social interaction and counteract depression and anxiety. That’s why AKQA welcomes employees to bring dogs into the studio.

Personal development and study leave

Regular workshops cover a wide range of topics, including Presentation Skills and Mental Health First Aid. German language tuition is also available. The German educational leave programme offers up to ten paid days to attend certified studies every two consecutive calendar years.

Annual holiday

We offer 25 days’ holiday per year plus bank holidays. We offer an additional day of annual holiday for each completed year at AKQA, up to 30 days.

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)

ERGs and groups across our network can be joined to unite employees around a shared identity or interest. We know connecting with colleagues is important, whether in person or virtually, so we host regular events, breakfasts and more. A ping pong table is available for games with coworkers.

Fruit, tea and coffee

Complimentary fresh fruit, herbal teas and drinks are available with milk alternatives such as soya and almond. There are also multiple coffee machines throughout the studio.

Wedding and moving day off

AKQA offers employees two days of paid leave to celebrate their wedding, we also provide one paid day off to help employees who are moving.

Recruitment referral scheme

We pay a financial bonus if you refer a candidate who ends up being permanently employed by AKQA.

Pension

We offer a pension scheme with a 20% contribution from AKQA; different plans are available, including the green rent, which invests only in sustainability. Regular meetings with pension consultants help guide employees through their options.

Family leave
