Delivery Lead
Our Delivery discipline sets the standards for governing and delivering complex projects and programmes of work.
As a Delivery Lead you will be responsible for leading the delivery of large-scale work, often overseeing other Project Managers, ensuring we meet our objectives within agreed timelines and budgets. You can create clear delivery plans, manage risk, escalations, and dependencies, leading multi-discipline teams to deliver high-quality work. This role is initially 6-month fixed term contract.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Own and lead programme/s of work by balancing resourcing, budgets, and time constraints, to manage risks and pre-empt issues.
- Govern entire delivery and execution process, to ensure controls are followed, with deliverables and milestones met.
- Develop and write documents, contracts, and input into the design of delivery teams to best meet programme objectives.
- Ensure programs aims and quality standards are met.
- Communicate programme status to various stakeholders.
- Point of escalation (for internal and client stakeholders)
- Hold a vision of what success looks like for the programme of work
- Often oversee multiple work streams
- Ensure a collaborative ‘one team’ approach of both client and agency..
- Lead and inspire, to foster a high-performing team.
QUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS
- Extensive experience delivering end to end large scale projects and technology platforms; mobile app and website development.
- A track record of delivering Agile / managing scrum teams
- Comfortable discussing concepts related to UX, design and technology.
- Rigorous in organisation and management, conscientious, and adept at solving issues at all project levels while supporting colleagues and clients.
- Able to understand and balance the interplay between people, processes and systems.
- Sharp attention to detail and a drive for perfection.
- Demonstrable experience leading and inspiring teams toward success
- Intuitive and perceptive, with outstanding communications skills: comfortable presenting to a group.
- Excellent analytical and numeracy skills with proficiency in financial modelling.
- Solid business acumen finds a pragmatic balance between best interests of programme and client.
