Senior Producer

We are looking for a Senior Producer to join our team in Copenhagen. You will be part of a high-paced, collaborative environment working with some of the brightest teams from around the world. Our projects range from local client initiatives to long-term global campaigns, offering variety, challenge, and the opportunity to shape work that makes an impact.
As a Senior Producer at AKQA, you will lead complex, end-to-end productions across film, photography, CGI,3D, animation, post-production, physical events and installations. You understand the campaign and activation mechanics and will be involved from strategy, concept to delivery, ensuring feasibility, setting up the right production systems, and finding the balance between competitiveness, profitability, and creative excellence.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Work closely with Client Service, Strategy, and Creative teams to scope, plan, cost, and schedule projects.
- Oversee delivery and execution, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication, especially during post-production.
- Drive a “One Team” mindset across agency, clients, and partners.
- Organize and optimize production and post-production workflows, making sure all steps of the way are clear and structured.
- Maintain excellent communication with teams, clients, and external partners.
- Use AKQA’s systems to track progress, resources, and financial performance.
- Support the creation of Statements of Work and articulate production workstreams.
- Ensure projects meet creative and quality standards, rights requirements, and client expectations.
- Select, contract, and manage third-party partners with fairness and efficiency.
- Identify risks early and manage solutions.
- Run productions from initial planning through to final delivery of master and adapted assets.
QUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS
- 5+ years of experience in production, ideally within an agency or consultancy setting.
- Experience across multiple production types such as campaigns, films, photography, events and digital content from strategy, concept, execution and post.
- Commercially and financially astute, able to balance creativity with pragmatic decision-making.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to solve problems at all levels of a project.
- Excellent communication in Danish and English.
- Sharp attention to detail with a drive for quality and craft.
- A supportive team player who elevates colleagues and projects.
- Curious, adaptable, and motivated to keep learning
