Senior QA Analyst with Automation

This role will focus on ensuring the quality and optimisation of web applications by creating and maintaining a comprehensive suite of automation tests using Playwright. You’ll help deliver solutions that are reliable, high-performing, and accessible across devices and platforms. You will contribute to the creation of digital experiences that enable our world-class clients to succeed.
As a Senior QA Analyst experience, you will partner with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement technology solutions that are strategically aligned and technically sound. Adept at problem solving and collaboration, you will apply your extensive testing expertise across the stack, while advocating for best practices in process, quality, performance, and security. You will also support the growth of junior team members, and contribute to continuous improvement of methods and standards.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Implement and execute automation testing using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium WebDriver, and other tools
- Apply JavaScript/TypeScript programming skills to develop effective test scripts
- Support manual testing, including defect validation, cross-browser, and device testing (e.g., BrowserStack)
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated test execution
- Analyse complex business and data requirements to create robust automation scripts
- Diagnose and troubleshoot defects to identify root causes
- Work collaboratively within project squads to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget
- Ensure all work meets the highest standards of quality
- Knowledge of performance and security testing, web technologies, and headless CMS platforms (e.g., Contentstack, Contentful, Strapi) is advantageous
QUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS
- Experience in test automation tools: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium WebDriver, etc.
- Programming skills (preferably JavaScript / Typescript).
- Understanding of CI/CD and various DevOps toolings.
- Experience in Performance and Security testing will be highly advantageous.
- Understanding of web technologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Sharp attention to detail and a drive for perfection.
- Experience in headless Content Management System (CMS) platforms such as Contentstack, Contentful, Strapi etc. will be advantageous.
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Sciences or similar preferred.
