User Experience Designers play essential roles in the execution of beautiful ideas, products and services. They bring exceptional creative thought and craft, developing and delivering from brief to end user.
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Freelance Senior UX Designer to support a well-known automotive brand. In this role, you will help design and deliver digital experiences across a complex ecosystem of products and services, balancing user needs, business goals, and technical realities. You will be key in deeply understanding problems, collaborating with cross-functional partners, and ideating and prototyping to ensure experiences are intuitive, accessible, and on brand.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
• A solid understanding and demonstration of user-centered design principles
• Design efficient, functional, and enjoyable digital experiences across web and app ecosystems
• Work flexibly across multiple product lanes within a complex system of interactions
• Work both strategically and tactically, weighing tradeoffs and exploring multiple solution concepts
• Get to know and empathize with customers and internal stakeholders to inform design decisions
• Solid understanding of web and app paradigms and contemporary UX patterns
• Highly proficient in Figma, utilizing components, layouts, and design systems to create wireframes, interactions, and prototypes
• Continually innovates and improves on processes and deliverables to set new standards
• Plan and synthesize research inputs to inform design (e.g., IDIs, usability testing, concept testing), partnering with research and product leads as needed
• Communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders and development teams in respectful ways that push for the best solutions
• Proactively identify and advocate for better design and innovations that might have otherwise been missed, focusing on continuous improvement

Location & Commitment
• Remote in the US
• Start date: 4/20 (six-week engagement)
• 40 hours/week
• Expected compensation: $3,000–$3,400 per week
