Christiano Vellutini has been promoted to Executive Creative Director of AKQA Casa.

Since joining AKQA in 2018, Christiano has become a trusted, and recognised leader in the creative and music industries. In his elevated role he will continue to lead transformative projects that bridge artists, brands, and audiences and drive Casa’s strategic vision, further solidifying its pioneering position in cultural and brand experiences.

Under Christiano’s creative direction, AKQA Casa has delivered some of the most celebrated work in the region, contributing to its recognition as LATAM Agency of the Year in 2019 and Brazil Agency of the Year in 2023.

Christiano has led award-winning campaigns across film, music, and branded experiences. He played a pivotal role in the studio’s historic Grand Prix win at Cannes Lions for Entertainment for Music with Baco Exu do Blues, the first for Brazil as well as the Media Grand Prix for Nike’s Air Max Graffiti Stores. His short film “Sonho,” created for funk artist Nego Bala, earned a Grand Clio in the Film/Video category, showcasing his ability to blend cultural insight with storytelling craft.

Beyond his role at AKQA Casa, Christiano is the co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of Coala Music, a Grammy Award winner and four-time nominee recognised for its influential music festival, artist management, and record label.

He also co-founded AKQA Coala.Lab, a creative venture bridging music and brand storytelling. The studio has earned international acclaim, including a Cannes Lions Grand Prix and top honours at global festivals such as the Clio Awards and D&AD, further cementing Christiano’s impact at the intersection of culture and creativity.
