“Imagine if everybody who owns music data realised the potential in opening it up to the world.”

Celebrated singer and composer Imogen Heap joined AKQA to discuss her plans to use data to create a fair trade music industry. Citing more than two decades' industry experience as inspiration, the Grammy Award winner outlined her vision for Mycelia - a digital library of spores containing music and its related creative content. Her aim is to ensure that future artists and collaborators are given credit and the financial reward they deserve for their work. Imogen also demonstrated her Mi.Mu gloves, which allow her to manipulate sound while on stage using a series of hand gestures.
