DSV is one of the largest logistics companies in the world, quietly touching many aspects of life, from food and textiles to medicine and heavy industry. Until now, they have prioritised simply getting things done over external communication.

The best way to communicate the breadth of impact a company DSV’s size has on the world is by honouring the people who make it what it is and what they all share. Grit, focus and drive.

Idea

Taking pride in optimising for the world.

Building on the recently created visual identity, AKQA crafted A Special Kind of Drive to illuminate the pride those within the organisation feel by keeping the world moving. This included a film and communication assets that rejected logistics industry conventions, filmed across the globe in Japan, USA, Norway, South Africa and DSV headquarters in Hedehusene, Denmark. The communications assets also broke conventions, focusing on the internal thoughts of DSV employees outside of their office hours with the mindsets of always striving for optimisation.

Impact

A new platform for a new beginning.

With this inaugural launch, DSV has a foundation for external and internal communications. Whether through the refreshed visuals or tone of voice, DSV can be recognised as it keeps supply chains flowing.
