AKQA delivers at the Webby awards

UN Women NL and DEGIRO Pink Chip

6% of the world’s publicly listed companies currently have female CEOs; research shows that companies with female leadership can outperform expectations. UN Women Netherlands and DEGIRO launched Pink Chip, a world-first collection of indices measuring women-led companies’ performance. The initiative, backed up by research, shows how investing in women can boost returns while supporting female leaders. Pink Chip has received recognition, including Gold in The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity Glass: The Lion for Change and Sustainable Development Goals awards.

Museum for the United Nations – UN Live’s Sounds Right has been recognised for Advertising, Media and PR: Best Cause Related Campaign (PR). Sounds Right is an innovative music initiative that recognises NATURE as the artist she truly is. With sounds from ecosystems and global artists featuring and crediting NATURE in their work on streaming platforms, each track generates royalties for nature’s conservation.
