Creativepool 2023 wide book

Creativepool has honoured AKQA with the People’s Choice Agency of the Year award for demonstrating the highest calibre of creative excellence, unprecedented achievements and breakthrough work over the past year. This win represents AKQA’s 81st Agency of the Year award since its founding.

AKQA has also won four Bronze and a People’s Choice award across Advertising Digital, Production, Music and Sound, and Animation. Now in its tenth year, Creativepool Annual is a compendium of the best work and talent in the creative industry, judged by panels of brand marketers and agency leaders, and the voting public.

As the People’s Choice Agency of the Year, AKQA is celebrated for its memorable narratives that spark change and exceptional growth powered by significant service, experience and product design for clients and communities around the world in the previous year. Notable recognition is also given to AKQA’s commitment to diversity through employee-led initiatives including Roots, a resource group that addresses systemic racism, and educational endeavours, such as Future Lions, that aim to nurture emerging global talent.

In my opinion, this is the strongest submission and the strongest work so far. Congratulations to all the people of AKQA!

Meet the Auburns

The World Gold Council’s Meet the Auburns has also won a Bronze award in both the Advertising Digital and Production categories. Johann Evanno, Global Marketing Director at Logitech, said: “Smart idea to create personas reflecting the different audiences, and speaking their language, to remove the reasons why people would not want to buy gold. Overall a good idea, well executed – and disruptive to break through the financial communication switch off habit.”
